Noboribetsu to Niseko

Hello All,
Ifve been reading your forums for many years and only decided to sign up as a user today
Wefve booked our 14 day holiday to Hokkaido in January 2020 and starting to look at what things to see and do there
We will be flying into New Chitose airport and then head over to Noboribetsu and explore the area for a few days before heading to the snow fields around Niseko. Wefve done some route planning via Google Maps, however it seems there is no direct route to Niseko without having to go back past Sapporo.
I wanted to ask if there was a quicker way of getting from Noboribetsu to Niseko using public transport?
