We will fly into Osaka from Ishigaki on 11 October. We have 10 full days before flying out of Narita. I am struggling to decide what is the most cost effective way to do the following itinerary. Osaka - Takamatsu via the Akashi Kaikyo bridge. Takamatsu - Okayama via the Seto-ohashi bridge. Okayama - Kanazawa - Toyama. Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (9800y ticket option). Nagano - Narita.
7 day JR pass is not long enough. If we purchase Kansai-Hokuriku area pass and a Tateyama Kurobe Apine ticket we still have to buy a ticket to Narita.
Is there a pass for the circuit Osaka-Okayama via Kagawa? Any assistance welcomed.

The 7-day pass is not just too short, it is far too expensive for what is essentially a one-way trip from Takamatsu to Narita. Andyes, you will need to buy tickets for the different sections of the trip. Passes do not always save money - they are route dependent.
I have not done the Osaka to Takamatsu via the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge route, but a simple search suggests a bus would be the economical way. The rail ticket Takamatsu to Toyama is pretty simple. And can be done for less than the price of the Kansai-Hokuriku area pass. Same with Nagano to Narita - simple to just buy the rail ticket.
