Visa process - preliminary investigation

Hello, I was applying for a work visa in Germany for Japan and am currently in the process of getting me COE approved and sent to me.
I received a preliminary investigation from the police for something I did a year ago and paid the fine already and now they sent another investigation. Does this influence my visa process?

If you didn't had crime record, then don't be upset.
In my country, we also paid fine.In spite of that,we got visa to enter Japan and we also reside in Japan. Hope,you have no criminal record.
