Itinerary 9 nights May 22nd Hokkaido

Hi there!

We are a family of six, 3 adults and 3 teens, first time travelers to Japan. We will be in Hokkaido and would love to sightsee as much as we can, we are thinking of hiring a car.
I have these places in mind but need help to put them in the right travel order:-

2 nights Noboribetsu ( stay in Lake Toya ) - Is it possible to drive frm Lake Toya to Lake Akan?? Is it too far?
2 nights - Lake Akan- Mt Iou Geothermal Park, Lake Akan cruise, Ainu Village, Kushiro, Sunayu Camping Ground. ( is it possible to visit the Shibazakkura on route to Mombetsu??)
1 night Monbetsu ( on route- Bihoro Lookout, Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park )
1 night Furano- Blue Pond, Biei (Patchwork)
3 nights Sapporo (on route to Shakatan Penisula/ Whiskey Distillery)
( Day tour to Otaru)

I have not booked any stays as I need to sort my itinerary hence am seeking your kind assistance on your thoughts and feel free to omit places if its too far to reach.

Is it possible to drive from Lake Toya to Lake Akan?
Yes , possible but will take about 6 hours, and more if avoiding toll roads.

Would be better if you do:
Lake Toya -> Furano
Furano -> Lake akan
Lake Akan-> Monbetsu

Hi there! If I use this route, from Monbetsu, can I stopover at Asahikawa before heading to Sapporo?

Lake Toya -> Furano
Furano -> Lake akan
Lake Akan-> Monbetsu

Just curious, if I was to do the reverse
Lake Toya- Lake Akan- ( where can I spend the night to break the journey btw Lake Toya and Lake Akan)

You will drive pass Asahikawa on the way to Sapporo.

i would stop in Obihiro-an onsen there to relax and break up the drive-the earlier you get started (after a good breakfast) the more you can see
