10 days Hokkaido during end of May

hi, i planned visit Hokkaido for 10 days during end of May next year.
i planned arrive at Sapporo and leave from any airports in Hokkaido, either Kushiro, Wakkanai, Nemuro or others
any suggestion for 10 days in Hokkaido, start from Sapporo and transportation for 2 adults and 3 children?

Under normal condition late May is a good time for tulip and pink moss in Eastern Hokkaido. The 3 most popular flower parks in that part of Hokkaido are Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park (tulip), Takinoue Park (pink moss) and Higashi-mokoto Shibazakura Park (pink moss). Just that they are quite far from Sapporo. After the visit consider flying out from Memanbetsu Airport.
For a family of 5 it would be nice to rent a car and explore the vast area of Hokkaido. The only concern is that if you pick it up in Sapporo or New Chitose Airport and return in Memanbetsu Airport it will involve an additional one-way drop off charge for the rental car.
