Sendai English speaking communities

I have been living in Sendai for about a year and have struggled to even see foreigners or been in situations appropriate to interrupt different situations to introduce myself. Is there any common areas in the region where native English speakers are spending time. I am going nuts not having outlets to unwind.

I do not live in Japan or Sendai, but until this year... I use to spend around 3-5 months around all over Japan. So while I was in Sendai I went to MiddleMix it is a bar frequented by forigners living in Sendai.

There are also meets on MeetUP(app/website) that you can try. They usually revolve around Japanese people trying to improve their english skill, but nevertheless you could meet some foreigners living around Sendai.
