I have a HSP (i) (a) Researcher since last 5 years with more than 75 points. Now I am eligible for HSP (ii) as well as PR visa. I would like to know whether can I start my own business with HSP (ii) visa? Because, I don't want to bother anyone to be a guarantor and I would also like to bring my parents to stay with me. Thank you for your reply.

1. HSP (i) or (ii), you have to be employed and the HSP is tied to your job/employer. If you change job/employer or quit to start business then, your HSP is no longer valid. 2. You can bring your parent under this two condition : a. to help take care of your children (lees than 7 years old) b. to help take care of your pregnant spouse. Read this and the FAQ section. http://www.immi-moj.go.jp/newimmiact_3/en/preferential/index.html
