HSP (ii) Residence status

I am a foreigner having HSP (ii) residence status working in a Japanese company. If I leave Japan for a long time with re-entry permission, say 2-3 years, and come back again to work with same/other company, whether can I stay in Japan with same residence status? Thank you for any suggestions.

ask immigration office and understand the principles of immigration, because you are highly skilled professional.
the answer may not be restricted to "the professionals status".
