Work Visa status 3 months after resignation? 2021/4/30 03:38
Hello all,

My Residence Card / Work Visa ((Engineer / Specialist visa) is valid until Feb 2022. However I resigned my last job in Jan 2021.

I thought I would be able to find a new job quickly but haven't been able to yet.
Though I think I can get a new job or go back to my old job.

However it's been more then 3 months since I resigned. What is the status of my work visa?
I read that one needs to find a new job in 3 months? but it is not black and white.

How do I find out if it has been revoked or not?

Thank you,
Unsu

Better go to immigration asap and sort it out.

If it had been revoked you would know about it.

The real question is are immigration aware of your change in employment? They need to be informed.

It is not gautomaticallyh revoked, even after youfve informed Immigration within 14 days of leaving your job (as required; the employer would inform them too). They will review the situation and inform you if they decide to revoke it.
Considering the current pandemic situation (both in terms of difficulty of traveling, and also in terms of finding employment in this economic situation), they are unlikely to go straight to revocation (just in my humble, personal opinion).
If you ever get asked about itc if you ARE indeed still looking for work, have enough money to sustain yourselfc just keep on looking for work. Best wishes.
