Big size luggage from Odawara to Yumoto

We are travelling from Kyoto Station to Odawara Station via Shinkansen with big size luggage with seat reservation. Arriving Odawara Station, we will purchase train tickets and travel to Hakone Yumoto Station. Can we carry big size luggage into the train at Odawara Station to Yumoto Station? TIA for the advise.

The answer is yes - but just make sure that it's not peak hour.
Because it's also more of a tourist train, this will probably be less of a problem

But getting from Hakone-Yumoto to other destinations with a large suitcase may be miserable. If you're off the Tozan line, outside of any hills you're fine but the majority of buses from Hakone-Yumoto or just regular city buses and they are not made for travel with luggage. Pre-Covid there was same day luggage delivery from Hakone-Yumoto if you arrived by 12:30 https://www.hakonenavi.jp/international/en/wp-content/themes/hakonenav...
