Accomodation rerservarion in Ine Funaya

Hi there,
I am having a trouble reserving an accomodation around Ine Funaya as most of them are not able to communicate using English.

I was wondering if anyone who has made a reservation and stayed there before also faced similar problem? What and how is the best to make a reservation then?

there is plenty of choices in Booking.com. Pretty sure, that for Japanese speakers there are other websites, maybe better and cheaper options - but anyway booking, Agoda, Rakuten etc are ok too.
