Alpine Route Reservation with Tourist Pass?

We are planning to go on May 15, 2023. I have already purchased an Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area
Tourist Pass. How do I reserve seats using this?
Do only people who made reservation get to enter or can we also fall in line on that day?
