Will museums be open on Monday 5/5/25?

Hi
I'm going to be staying overnight on Naoshima on Monday, May 5th - Boys Day and National Holiday. Will Museums be open on Monday 5/5? Or on Tuesday 5/6? Wasn't sure from museum descriptions. Suggestions for other islands if this island is closed for holiday. I read there is also a Triennial happening at this time.

When the regular closed day is a Monday and a public holiday, they (attractions in Japan) normally shift to the following day. Otherwise several museums and the Art House Project places would otherwise be closed.
