Hakone Free Pass 2025/5/19 18:38
Hello, I would like to know if there is a one-way Hakone Free Pass from Tokyo. We are staying in Hakone for two days and then heading to Kyoto. Therefore, a return ticket is unnecessary. Thank you.

No, but there is a pass that covers neither the outward nor the return journey.
It can be a good deal in combination with a regular trip from Shinjuku to Odawara.
(note that Klook does not offer that ticket; you have to purchase it through the Odakyu website or as a paper ticket on site, e.g. at Odawara Station)

The Hakone Free Pass has several versions depending on where you start, and if you are returning to your starting point or not. If departing the Hakone area from Odawara, just buy a regular ticket for the out-bound portion and the Free Pass for the Odawara area only. That can be purchased at Odawara, or at Shinjuku if you wanted (make sure you get the correct versin.)
Also, make sure the pass works for your trip. If only visiting Gora or a few places, itis quite expensive. If doing the ropeway, boat ride a dna bunch of buses/trains, then it can be good value.
