Thank you for your suggestions. I have seen many day tours offered from Kanazawa. Because we plan to stay for a few days, we need to find someone already living in the Noto Peninsula, since we are unlikely to find someone in Kanazawa who will drive back and forth to take us around for several days. Also we will need an English speaking driver/guide. This has been challenging, unlike other areas of Japan where we have traveled.
