Kansai Wide Are Pass + normal ticket?

I would like to take the Super Hakuto from Osaka to Kurayoshi without having to leave the train in Tottori.
Is that even possible?

Can I combine the Pass with a normal ticket?
If so, how would I do that? Ticket machine? Office?

You should buy a regular ticket from Tottori to Kurayoshi before your board the train at Osaka, for example, at Osaka Station. You should do so at the same time as you make your seat reservation for the Super Hakuto and tell the staff that you wish to use the same seat beyond Tottori.

Go to the ticket office, show your Kansai Wide area pass and tell the staff you want to go to Kurayoshi. You will pay Tottori to Kurayoshi base fare and the express fee. If you take reserved seat it would be 2190 yen.
