Half a day from Haneda

In the first week of November we will take our 4th vacation in Japan . Hokkaido this time . On our return leg we have half a day and full night layover at Haneda Airport for which we have booked an airport hotel . Now what to do with the half day ? We have already covered almost all attractions in Tokyo including secondary ones like the drum and parasite museum . If the weather is clear how can we make a quick hop to view Fujiyama San ? Any other suggestions not too far from Haneda ? Any good spot for fall colours ? Thanks for all help 🙏

Have you been to Enoshima? What about Miura peninsula? From Enoshima you can have a nice view of Fujisan. Miura as well or you can do some walking along the coast. For fall colours Kamakura might be nice. There are so many things to discover in Kamakura. My preference is Kita Kamakura (things to see for several days) or yoi could go to eastern parts of Kamakura.
Other options also available:-)

Actually, you can see Fujiyama from the Haneda Airport 1st terminal observatory. Also, you can view from the 2nd one. If you want to spend time around Tokyo, not Haneda, Tokyo Skytree is a better choice. You can go back to Haneda easily. About the question about a place to see fall colors, Meiji Shrine is one of the best places in Tokyo. However, I can't expect it to be good or not when you visit. Maybe, because of the typhoon, all leaves will fall. I hope the weather conditions are perfect on your trip day. :)

as @LikeBike says Enoshima & Kamakura are the obvious options. I have some lovely photos of Fuji taken from the sea candle. I have visited Kamakura several times and it is one of my favourite places in Japan. I dont know Kita Kamakura at all but am looking forward to exploring it on my next visit.

You can have fun at Haneda Airport all day long. Even us locals do.
It's also safe to explore neighborhoods along the Keikyu train Line which connects directly from the airport lobby. Stations like Kamata are worth getting off to spend half a day, or you can go to Gumyoji Station which is features and old shopping arcade that feeds the citizens of Yokohama. If the weather is nice, you might enjoy a day at the beach near Miura-Kaigan Station.
In fact, there are direct trains that take you straight from Haneda Airport to Zushi-Hayama terminal Station where you can walk along a river to a beach. And stations like Kanazawa-bunko provide you a little area where you can walk and see pre-Meiji history at the same time.
There just are too many places you can enjoy while keeping track back to Haneda Airport. Have fun!

Yokohama would be my suggestion as an alternative to Kamakura if you are short on time. Frequent trains on the Keikyu line, many of them direct, will bring you to Yokohama main station in less than 40 minutes.

I suggest you keep multiple options open. November is one of the better times of year with more clear days, if seeing Mt. Fuji is a priority for you. But there are no guarantees. You do have many good choices open to you. Yokohama, Kawasaki, Kamakura & Enoshima, Takao etc to name just a few.
