Sorry for posting more questions about the gassho zhuri villages but I have to plan everything ahead because of the bus schedules and the reserved bus tickets from Shirakawa-go. And as this is my first time, I have no clue what I am doing. LOL I will be traveling from Kanazawa to Shin-Takaoka early in the morning. I will take the World Heritage Bus to Ainokura and then, to Suganuma. Due to the bus schedule, sadly, I will have only one hour each in both villages. example: Arrive in Ainokura: 9:30 am Leave: 11 am Arrive in Suganuma: 11:10 am Leave: 12:15 pm Arrive in Shirakawa-go: 1 pm Have reserved bus tickets from Shirakawa-go to Takayama: 3:45 pm Would you suggest that I stay longer in Suganuma (last bus from there is 2:45 pm. There is no other bus between or after that time)? I don't have to visit Ogimachi because I prefer seeing less tourists and more of the villages but I do have to take the bus to Takayama from Shirakawa go. https://www.kaetsunou.co.jp/ol/regular/sekaiisan.html

Seeing all 3 villages I think is too much. After all the houses are pretty much the same. If you stay in Takayama afterwards, Ifd take an earlier bus to do some afternoon sightseeing in Takayama.

Thank you for your suggestion. I can always skip one of the villages. I really don't want to visit over touristy places. Oh well! I guess I will have to learn the hard way.
