Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club Onsen 2025/10/25 17:03
Hi,

We have a late flight out of Haneda on Saturday 6th Dec. Would be great to spend the day at Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club Onsen. However, only if they can store our 2 x 24” trolleys. I read they only provide lockers which fit backpacks.
I don’t really want to risk looking for lockers at stations like Shijo-mae or Shimbashi Stations. Returning to our hotel at Kuramae is also taking too much time.

Appreciate if anyone can clarify about luggage storage at the venue? I tried combing the internet to no avail.

🙏

On their FAQ page it says they will store luggage, and it doesn’t mention coin lockers or specify a size limit, so I would assume they mean they will accept it for storage.

Q
荷物は預けられますか?
A
当日受付後から退館されるまでの間でしたらお預かりは可能です。受付は朝の10時から承っております。

Q
Can I store my luggage?
A
We can store your luggage from the time you check in until you leave the facility on the day. Check-in is available from 10:00 AM.

If you are still worried, you could try using their web contact form to verify, or if you are staying someplace that has a concierge you could ask them to phone the place to confirm.

Hi Kim, thanks so much for your help. These details aren’t provided if I chose English language option. Only found if I google translate - Which I saw after entering your link. Just what I needed - Luggage info, Free shuttle bus info, their contact 🙏🙏🙏

The Japanese versions of web sites for many places in Japan often have a lot of information that isn’t on the English versions of the sites. Web translators have gotten a lot better in the last few years, but sometimes web searches in English don’t lead you to the Japanese sites. AI chatbots sometimes do a better job. You can ask them questions in English but they will search Japanese sites to find answers, and they will also provide names in Kanji (as well as in Romaji) for you, which can sometimes come in handy. Sometimes you have to ask them to do this.

That looks like a nice place, the Toyosu Manyou Club. I have been meaning to check it out ever since it opened but never manage to find the right time to do it. It would be nice to spend the last day of a trip relaxing in such a facility, but I’m usually too busy trying to stuff more okashi into my suitcases.

Ya… Both of us enjoy Onsen tremendously. Another issue though it’s a Saturday. Wish to go on a weekday but seems hard to shuffle my itinerary due other days involve visits to night illumination events and all the places are quite far from my hotel in Kuramae. Making it difficult to move any of the activities to my final day even though my flight from Haneda is close to midnight. Still need to c/in by 9pm. I’ve also looked at the Onsen at Haneda. That will make it much easier but it seems like the Manyo Club facilities are nicer. Plus the Haneda one costs around \1k more. Less crowded perhaps than Manyo Club though on a Saturday.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Toyosu place looks way better for your needs than the place at Haneda. At the Haneda facility, once you enter, you are stuck there, and if you go out you have to pay their rather high fee to enter again. It might be okay for two or three hours, but doesn’t look nearly as nice as the Toyosu place. I have never been interested in the Villa Fontaine place, to be honest.

If you have tattoos, just be aware that the Toyosu facility has explicit rules and is apparently very strict about them. Apparently the Haneda place allows tattoos without restrictions.

When I have time to kill at Haneda, I like to poke around the Haneda Airport Garden shopping area, but the shops close at 9. (The restaurants are open until 11, but I have never tried any of them.) Those late-night flights are kind of a drag. Some years ago I had to take them a couple of times, and I got a hotel with a special plan that had a late afternoon checkout time. (These are hard to find, though. Typically, you would have to pay by the hour for late checkout, and the fees are pretty high.)

Heiwajima is another place with an onsen facility. I’ve never tried it but I’ve looked at it as a possible place to kill time before a Haneda flight, as it is very easy to get to the airport from there. There is an aquarium near there (called the Shinagawa Aquarium but it isn’t anywhere near Shinagawa Station) that I have been to and enjoyed. The Toyosu onsen place is newer than Heiwajima and looks much more elaborate, though. It is a little more expensive but seems to be well worth it.

Have fun on your trip!

I plan to eat at Godaime Hanayama Haneda since I like it when I went to their Ginza branch. But it’s stated close at 9pm. So early… Will see if I can check in earlier than the 3hours c/in time (8:55pm). Then go for dinner. That was possible for ANA but doubt so for Air Asia ☹️
