Nagano to Kawaguchiko best way?

I prefer convenience with minimal changing as possible. And if a private charter would be better? Can't seem to find a private car on Klook.

The best route with public transportation is:
Nagano - (train) - Matsumoto - (train) - Kofu - (bus) - Kawaguchiko

Depending on transfer timings, the following could be better and is probably easier because it does not involve buses, which are more complicated to use:
Nagano - (train) - Matsumoto - (train) - Otsuki - (train) - Kawaguchiko

As for minimal charging, Shinkansen to Tokyo and then take direct bus to Kawaguchiko.
