Nagasaki Kunchi 2026/6/24 03:48
We will be in Nagasaki during the festival and Ifm trying to work out where we can see the floats and dancers. I understand that booking tickets for the viewing areas is as good as impossible but canft find any routes or info where viewing is possible.

We went to Takayama Matsuri and it was just standing along the path of the procession and watching. Is Nagasaki Kunchi a similar experience?

It is different from Takayama, because they don't move together. Each float has its own route. A "timetable" is available at tourist offices (and on the website) during the festival, but it does not usually get published until just a few days before the festival.

This, for example, is the timetable for last year:

When I visited years ago I remember that an English version was available at tourist offices, but I am not sure about now.
