Heya!
Well i know about Hana too, becuase i have a friend whos name is Hana, means flower! haha, and Nori by itself is a girls name.....but you can add onto it to make it a boys name......
like: Norihei, Norio, Noriyuki and Noriaki! (i've seen a couple of girls with the name Norio too!)
Or you can a little on it for a girls name too......and Nori could be her nick name?!?, like: Norie, Noria, Norika, Noriko, Noriyo, Norimi, and Norina!
But you know when it comes right down to it you can name your child whatever you want, so you could use Nori lol, i know a guy from school named Gabriell (and yes, it IS pronouced the girls way...i've asked AND he was in one of my classes), but i also think parents should keep in mind what the kid will go threw in school with a girl-ish name.....that kid i know gets picked on alot about his name. =(

Hi by me, Here is a website with a page each of both Japanese and Arabic names: www.babynameworld.com/japanese.asp www.babynameworld.com/arabic.asp Hi Iza, Gabriel is a man 's name that comes from the Bible. The name's origin is Hebrew. Gabriell or Gabrielle sounds like the French way of spelling it. Here check it out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabriel_(archangel) *Don't forget to putthe ( http://)in front of the links.

My 20 yr old lil sister is having a baby girl and she is naming her Aya. Of course in Arabic that means a phrase from the holy Koran, but in Japanese Aya means Color or Design. I know of a famous Japanese model names Aya Ueto.
