Hi guys, I'll be in Tokyo at around the end of March. I've been looking for accommodation and have realized that I started too late. All of the hotels/ryokans that I looked up/called are booked out!!
I finally managed to find Hanamiya Hotel in Ikebukuro which has availability for me and 2 friends.
Has anyone stayed at this hotel or heard anything about it?
Is it located in a decent area?
Will I have to go through Romance dori to get to it?

Hi there!
I ended up staying at that hotel when i arrived. It's VERY small and quite shabby, but i couldn't complain about the price! The staff are very nice and the room gets cleaned everyday. It's about a 10min walk from the station and the area is quite safe.
If u're travelling on a budget and aren't fussy about hotels then i'd recommend staying there.
