I just found about this museum on the wb, but can't seen to find out exactly where it is, i'd like to know the easiest way (by JR preferably) from Okayama (Hotel Granvia).

Crafting demonstrations? 2007/8/16 11:31
Does anyone know if they still have demonstrations of the techniques used to craft swords? The English site doesn't list when they do it and I can't read the Japanese site.

Sword smithing 2007/8/16 12:31
If you want to see demonstrations of swords being made, you should visit Seki, in Gifu Prefecture.

They have New Year Japanese Sword Making Ceremony on
January 2nd of each year.

They also have demonstrations of Sword Making and Armour Skills on the first Sunday of March, April, June and November (Demonstrations from 10:00, 13:30, 14:30)

see here:

The whole thing is really interesting!!!!
