hair in the rainy season

Im wondering if anyone has any tips for looking nice in the summer!
It doesnt get so hot in my country, and the heat and humidity really affects my hair and skin.
i know its not such an important thing, but when i look around at japanese women, they dont seem to have such any problems. So i was wondering if anyone had any good tips, or names of good products i could get?
or am i destined to hide under my hat all summer?

Hi:)i know biosilk works wonders it's good for frizzy, dull unmanagable hair, but not sure if you can find it locally,i havent found it off base yet, also ion leave in conditioner is very nice, hope this helps maybe someone will know if a local store might carry similar products, goodluck:)
