Help needed for Hokkaido trip

Hi, I plan to go to Niseko, Hakodate, Sapporo, Rusutu, Jozankei and Noboribetsu in Hokkaido in Dec this year.

I will be taking a train (on JR pass) from Tokyo and will be flying from Chitose Airport to KIX before leaving Japan.

I have a headache planning the best route in Hokkaido, may I know what is the best sequence to visit all the places?

Tokyo - Hakodate - Noboribetsu - Sapporo and then Rusutsu and Niseko in side trips from Sapporo or, if available, a direct bus between Niseko and Rusutsu (not sure if it exists). Jozankei is just outside Sapporo. The bus to Rusutsu seems to stop there along the way.
