tattoo shop in Kyoto? 2007/7/30 19:01
Hello,
I'm going for the first time to Japan next week and I'd like to have informations on tattoo shops in Kyoto. I want to get a japanese backpiece tattoo. Can you help me?

I found one on the web.

CATCLAW TATOO
http://www.catclaw-tattoo.com/top.html

But please keep in mind that a tatoo is still considered a symbol of mafia (Yakuza) instead of a fashion by many Japanese. You may be rejected to enter communal bath in onsen/ryokan with a tatoo.

about onsen 2007/8/2 13:40
I forgot to say that I never had problem to go to onsen in Japan even if I have a big tattoo, specially ryokan onsen. Some place like pools may be forbidden to people having tattoos but usually it's ok ;)
