Temple Accommodation in Kyoto?

My friend and I would like to spend the night at a buddhist temple in Kyoto when we visit in October. Can anyone recommend one we could stay at? I'm nervous to go to Kyoto with no idea of where we could stay and I was hoping people could offer any advice on which temples offer accommodation and whereabouts they might be. Thanks! : )
