I'll be studying in Japan in the coming months and since I'll have a student visa I won't be able to purchase a JR rail pass.
What I would like to know is whether or not I can purchase advance reserved tickets for both Shinkansen and Limited express from Narita airport upon arrival for a trip from Shizuoka to ShinOsaka/ShinOsaka to Kanazawa in a weeks time for example. If so where can I find this? (I'll be landing at terminal 2 I think.)

Yes. Tickets for any JR train can be purchased at any JR station with ticket counter, including at JR Narita Airport Station. Reserved seat tickets can be purchased from one month ahead of departure day until departure time.
