Hi, I am using Hyperdia to check train times in Japan. I was wondering if somebody could tell me what's it means when there's the purple icon with arrow (passage station) and pink icon with arrow (lapel station)? I don't understand the definition given on this page, http://grace.hyperdia.com/cgi-english/htm/help_k.htmcould somebody be of assistance? Thanks!

It means that you don't have to change trains. Just stay aboard the same train. You can basically ignore this station.
and pink icon with arrow (lapel station)?
It means that the arriving train enters the station from the same side as the departing train is departing from. For the regular user, it is just the same as any other transfer station.
