Will I be able to ski early dec?

Hi, will be in tokyo from 9dec to 16 dec. Hoping to have a day trip out to a ski resort. Some websites recommend Yuzawa area. I am not sure if there will be any snow there during that time. Please help, or do you have other places near tokyo? Thanks.

In the average year you should be able to ski in the Yuzawa area. Only if it should be an extraordinarily warm winter, there might be a lack of snow.
Naeba, for example, usually opens in the second half of November.
