Internet... Please...! 2007/8/28 09:12
My room has no internet, and I have no plans of buying a telephone line $$.

I do have a a nttdocomo keitai. I know that it is possible to use my mobil as a modem with mopera U.

Is there a flat rate per month for UNLIMITED time or data transfer at a high speed?

Please help me!!!

Kuromi, you can subscribe ADSL without landline. Yahoo BB has a 5-month free campaign by the end of August. Ask your friend to fill in the (online) form in Japanese.

J Lady, thank you very much, but it has lots of restrictions and I don't trust so much those kind of promotions, because at the end you pay more than it was supposed to.

This is the service I am interested. But I don't know the exact difference, or what is included in the monthly fee.

I could be wrong but as long as I read the page you posted, there is no flat rate system for Mopera. Standard service (500yen/month) covers net surfing and mail while Light service (300yen/month only when you use Mopera) net surfing only. In addition to monthly fee, you need to pay transmission fee depending on the data amount you sent/received. According to the DOCOMO page, 1 page view costs about 13-20 yen.

My friends who need wireless internet access often use WILLCOM as it has a flat rate system, for your information...
