Best place to live 2007/8/28 13:35
I'm planning to live in Japan one day. I want to live in a place where there are not a lot of foreigners or none because I don't want to be talking English in Japan. I want to talk more Japanese to learn more and also to experience more Japanese lifestyle.
I also don't want to live in big cities.
Where would be a good place like that where I could live?

To live in Japan you need a visa. Working visa you only get when a Japanese company can employ you and they sponsor your visa request. This will limit your choice were to live. In smaller towns rarely English is spoken, but even in cities like Tokyo you will only be surrounded by Japanese. English only when you do not understand something, otherwise as long as you speak Japanese expect to be replied in Japanese. Alternative to working visa is studying or for specific countries a working holiday visa.
