Hi,

I'd to expand a little on Dave's response, and show you a few more ways to say "have you ever..." in Japanese.

Dave's use of "shita", past tense of the verb "to do" is perfect but you can replace "shita" with other past tense versions of verbs as well.

I often use the following verbs when using this phrase with Japanese friends (written in past tense):

itta = to go (have you gone to this place before?)

kiita = to hear (have you heard this before?)

mita = to see (have you seen this before?)
