Hi everyone.
Im travelling to japan for 27 days at the start of october. It'll be my first time overseas. Ive made up an itinerary and i wanted to know what people think. Please any comments are welcome.
Tokyo - 4 nights
Hiroshima - 2 nights
Miyajima - 2nights
Himeji - 2 nights
Kyoto - 4 nights
Kanazawa - 2nights
Nara - 2nights
Mount Koya - 1 night
Ive listed the destinations in the order in which i'll be visiting them.
Also ive left the last few days open, so i can re-visit places or go to new ones.

Two nights in Himeji is too much. Most people do not overnight there, at all, but just visit the city's sights while passing through. Two nights in Miyajima is also on the longer side, although I imagine it to be very nice to have a full day on the island. Something for people who like to settle down and follow a slow pace of travel.
