How far a walk is it from Toyoko Inn Gojo Karasuma from Toyoko inn Shijo Karasuma? Also any recommendations about places to eat?

They are only about half a kilometer apart from each other. About 10 minutes on foot along Karasuma Dori.

Toyoko Inn Shijjo Karasuma is located next to Daimaru Department Store. Shijo Street is one of the major streets in Kyoto and you will find dining places along this road and also on the narrow alleyways towards north from Shijo street.
