train connection takayama - kanazawa

I read on your website, that there is a good train connection between Takayama and Kanazawa after reparations due to the typhoon (and as well on the takayama info site from jnto), but when I check on hyperdia I get only connections of more than 4 hours... we are travelling on Oct. 22nd towards the end of the day to have more time in Takayama and have a JR Pass. Can you helpto find the best connection?

The whole journey takes 2 hrs 25 mins.

Hyperdia seems not to have updated the timetable for the Takayama Line yet.
