We are staying near Kyoto Station in a fortnights time. Can anyone tell me if there are any coin laundries close by.

In the station you will find toilettes but in my experience those are really dirty. If you are on a sight seeing trip you can use the loos of big department stores. If no big store is around just go to a restaurant. People are friendly and there shouldnt be any problems so dont worry! Have fun in Kyoto!

sorry, i misread you post ^^; laundries are of course avaible at hotels and youthhostels. You might have to search a bit. at the station theres the tourist info where you could get infos
