I`m a student in Fukuoka with a visa for one year (not as a tourist). I know that I`m officially not aloud to buy or use the JR pass or a regional version of it (for example JR Kyushu pass), but I wanted to ask if it is possible to get the pass as a resident. I once used the pass of a friend and noone seemed to care...
Has someone of you ever tried to buy a pass? Please give me some advice.
