Fuji climb partway in October

Is it possible to climb Mt Fuji partway during late Oct? Maybe from 5th to 7th or 8th station? We will be staying in Kawaguchiko.

The recommended months for climbing are July and August, other months the mountain is not 'closed', but climbing strongly recommended only for very experienced climbers. Expect most or all huts being closed.
