Hakata Station to Mount Aso

I would like to ask if someone knows the bus and train routes from Hakata to Mount Aso.

Me and my friends would like to tour the crater of Mount Aso and other nearby tour spots.

Train routes (enter "Hakata" and "Aso"):

Bus route:
I don't think there is a direct bus from Fukuoka, but there is a bus from Kumamoto to Aso and there is a bus from Fukuoka to Kurokawa Onsen near Aso (and another bus from Kurokawa to Aso).
