The Canadian dollar is actually so strong against the yen now (118 last I looked), that 400,000 is now quite a bit less than $4000, unfortunately for Canadians wanting to send money back to Canada...
Just went and checked my favourite currency exchange site, xe.com, and 400,000 yen right now comes to about $3,350 CAD. Ouch.
