Moving to Osaka- where to live?

I'm moving over to Osaka to teach English... and I want to know a good area to live?
I have seen a few appartments that I'm interested in on the internet... but I don't know whether it's better to live downtown or if living a bit out is a problem, or if transport is pretty easy?

The school your working for should be able to provide you with that sort of information and even help with the application.
Transport is efficiant, no dramas there.
