Flu Season in Japan & weather

Is Dec the peak period of flu season?
Also, how's the weather like in Dec (beginning & mid dec)? I will be in OSaka and Tokyo.
Please advice.

The peak period of flu season in Japan is Jan - March an ordinary year.
Flu was prevalent very much from 2005 to 2006,
But 2007 - 2008 are not so bad according to the ministary of welfare said.
As long as you visit Japan this Dec,you don't need to worry about Flu so much,i think.
Here is Temperature in Tokyo on Dec(biginning)---
average 9.7c, highest 13.6c, lowest 5.9c.
middle---
average 8.3c, highest 12.1c, lowest 4.5c.
Temperature in Osaka and Tokyo are almost same.
An ordinary year, there are not many rainy days in winter.
