Artist Cafe

My wife and I will be visiting Tokyo next month. We are thinking of having a dinner at Artist Cafe at Tokyo Dome Hotel. Does anybody know if reservation if required for the balcony seat and the dress code for the cafe? Must men wear a tie or a suit?

I was staying at the Tokyo Dome Hotel last week and we ate at the Artist Cafe. The food was great and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I recommend the cheese plate and the Wagyu and Uni Carpacchio.

We didn't have reservations and all the balcony seats were full so that leads me to believe that you need reservations to get the good seats.

There was no dress code.

Yes, I think it is better to make a reservation especially if you want a balcony seat. Dress code is not stated on the web but my guess is smart casual is good for this place rather than T-shirt & jeans.
