Difficult to find work on a spouse visa? 2007/11/4 15:54
Would it be incredibly difficult to find work in Japan on a spouse visa? I know the NOVA crap is making things difficult for English teaching, but the two of us are planning to be in Japan next September. I have an associates and I'm working towards my bachelor's now. Any ideas? BTW, we'd be in Kyushu. Thanks.

You are free to work in Japan with spause visa and there is no limitation on activity. If you are fluent in Japanese, then you might find a job. It depends on your experience and abilities i guess.

Spouse visa is if you are married to a Japanese national (I wasn't too sure if you said your wife was Japanese or not), as mentioned Japanese language ability, experience, ability, qualifications etc all come into factor as well. Japanese language ability is the key to opening more opportunities.
