Keisei Train or NEX? 2007/11/14 00:33
hi all! my first time travelling to japan (Tokyo) and i'll be travelling alone from the airport to Tokyo station. I found out that i have 2 options to get to my hotel in Marunouchi area: (1) Keisei Train to Nippori then change to JR Yamanote line to Tokyo, or (2) direct NEX from Narita to Tokyo.

My flight will be arriving on a Sat morning, so would like to know how is the crowd on Yamanote line on Saturday mornings around 9am? I'm afraid if it is like any weekday crowd, i may not be able to squeeze up the train with my luggage.

Lavendermist,

On a Saturday morning, the Yamanote Line won't be as crowded as weekday rushhours, but if you are tired after an overnight flight, I would definitely recommend using the direct Narita Express or the Limousine Bus, which may go directly to your hotel.
