Maplle Tree and Clothes for Dec

Hi to All

My family and I with 2 kids will be in Osaka for 7 nights and Tokyo, 6nights from 9 Dec.

Please advise the possibility of seeing the Autumn fiery colour of maple tree in during this period and where can I find it in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara or Tokyo. My kids would love it as we are from Singapore, a tropical country.

Also please advise if i must bring winter clothings for this period for trips to the abovenamed places.

I am afraid, it is likely too late to see any autumn colors after December 9.

Also please advise if i must bring winter clothings for this period for trips to the above named places.

Temperatures are around 5-15 degrees during the day and around 0 and 10 degrees during the night.
