Where can I take a sleigh ride? 2007/11/26 06:40
It has always been my dream to ride in a sleigh pulled by horses (not reindeer like Santa Claus!) Going to Kanazawa & Shirakawago in January - could it be possible there? Any information anyone???

Aomori 2007/11/26 09:56
Specifically: Goshogawara-machi, Aomori prefecture. It's in the far north of Honshu.

Use Find function to look for sleigh in this link:

looks awesome but Aomori is a little bit too far - any suggestions closer to Gifu, Nagoya, Kanazawa areas?

I hope someone suggests a tip 2007/11/26 18:38
That would be great landscape for such a venture.

It's a brilliant idea. Sort of the kind of initiative tourism you might find in somewhere like New Zealand, say.

Maybe if the Japanese economy deteriorates further such things might appear.

Good luck on your quest!
