I know Lo is a Chinese name, but I think the kanji in Chinese and Japanese are the same. Can anyone tell me what it means? I've searched but can't find it anywhere.

薄物 = 羅 = うすもの according to this site:

http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html

薄物; 羅 【うすもの】 (n) lightweight fabric or clothing

My denshijisho also gives ラ as the on reading of 羅 with a meaning of: gauze, thin silk, Rome.

The name dictionary says that it is used as a name and is read Ai (あい)
